Today in sports history

First post. 

It's Willie a regular feature and it is today in sports history 

On June 30 the following things happened. 

In 1962 sandy Koufax pitched his first career no-hitter against the New York mets. 
In 1984 the longest professional football match ever took place in a USFL match between the Los Angeles express and the Michigan panthers which Los Angeles won 27-21 after 93 minutes and 33 seconds or 3 minutes and 33 seconds into the third OT.
